Happy Birthday in Costa Rica

IMG_2431 (2).JPGMy birthday started bright and early at 5:20 in the morning. I was showered with many cards this morning. I got birthday present from the boys and it was chocolate hearts candy. We were leaving San Jose and headed to the beach for our debriefing. On our way to the beach we stop to see some crocodiles. We did not get to do a river tour of the crocodiles but we got to see them from the bridge and they were huge. At the end of the crocodile bridge tour they were my best friends. We arrived at the beach around 9 o’clock this morning. We did not waste any time and we got right into the water. I had a wonderful lunch at the hotel today with all of my favorite food like rice, chicken and salad. I had this awesome strawberry cake today and that was definitely my favorite part of my birthday. I got to reflect on how this week went in Costa Rica. One of the best moments on this trip was when Jordan shared his testimony. I knew it was going to be a very emotional testimony for me because I heard it before. However, it was still a very inspirational story. I could relate to Jordan’s testimony on so many aspects. I was told many times this week that I wouldn’t just have this testimony during this mission’s trip, but would have it with me for the rest of my life. I am definitely going to follow up on what Jordan said in his testimony and I want to share the gospel with at least one other person when I get home. One of my other favorite moments on the trip was handing out tracks. I was super nervous but it was the best thing I’ve ever done in my life. Jesus wants me to do this not just in other countries or other states but around my hometown and my neighborhood. I will definitely not forget my birthday in Costa Rica. I can’t wait to see what God does through my life when I get home.
